The Pacific National Exhibition is a non profit organization which hosts an annual 17-day summer fair, seasonal amusement park and arena in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
The Pacific National Exhibition was looking for a way to reinforce the anniversary message, "100 MORE Years of Fun", with BC's youth and young families in way that modernized the perception of the site.
Email Database: Kinetix developed a web-based contest that invited visitors to vote on their all-time favorite attractions and events for a chance to win. Entrants had the opportunity of winning instantly and receiving free passes for rides and attractions at the fair, which could be redeemed online. Two VIP-days at the fair were also awarded, and every voter was entered in a grand prize draw to win airfare for two to Asia and a $500 Visa gift card.
The contest was promoted on the Pacific National Exhibition website, via social media channels, in the PNE iphone app, via press releases and in email messages to the existing database.

The app is fully updatable without requiring any programming skills, empowering the Pacific National Exhibition to add and update attractions to accommodate seasonal events like the Fair and Fright Nights
